The multiple choice competency domains for the CCS-P have been revised and some of the same topics that were added to the CCS exam have now also been added to the CCS-P exam including information and communication technologies, privacy, confidentiality, legal and ethical issues as well as compliance.  So these issues of Exam Echoes will be a review of the new domains and their specific application to physician or specialty office coding, billing and management as well as a review of the older domains that remain and their specific application to physician or specialty office coding.  This document covers these domains in detail with a 10- question quiz to assist you in the review and studying process.  Keep in mind that these questions are not the exact questions that will be on the test, but the questions are intended to be representative of the concepts that may be tested based on the multiple choice competency list provided by AHIMA.
